Job Description
As an Inside Sales Representative within our Aerospace and Defense division, you will be responsible for supporting complex strategic customers through outbound sales calls, lead qualifications, and smaller account management and special projects. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who excels in customer support and sales processes and is not afraid to develop sales and growth strategies toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives with your sellers.
- Customer Support: ‚ÄØProvide exceptional support to customers through various communication channels (phone, email, chat) to ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Sales Collaboration: ‚ÄØWork closely with the sales team to prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts, while assisting with overall sales efforts.
- Follow-Up Communications: ‚ÄØConduct follow-up communications regarding orders, inquiries, and support requests to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution.
- Quote Preparation: ‚ÄØPrepare and send formal quotes based on customer requests, ensuring competitive pricing and terms.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: ‚ÄØCollaborate with marketing, product management, and customer service teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Sales Program Support: ‚ÄØAssist with the implementation and promotion of sales programs and initiatives to boost product visibility and sales, especially for the Defense Logistics Agency.
- Issue Resolution: ‚ÄØAddress and resolve customer issues related to orders, products, and billing promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Development: ‚ÄØDevelop strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
- Problem Resolution: ‚ÄØWork with engineering, product management, pricing, customer service, ISC and other teams to ensure effective problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: ‚ÄØAssist customers with quality and delivery issues that may arise.
- Must Have
- Proven track record of driving sales growth proactively.
- 2 years experience in sales or customer support, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Must be proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated persistence and discipline in pursuing sales goals.
